I create heartfelt, highly personalized ceremonies that honor your love, your values, and the many paths that have brought you together. Whether your celebration is spiritual, secular, interfaith, traditional, unconventional, or beautifully indefinable, we will create a ceremony in which you can recognize yourselves.
There Is No Single Right Way to Make a Moment Sacred
Sacredness is not confined to one religion, tradition, gender combination or set of words. It will be found wherever people gather with love, presence, and sincere intention.
Creating Your Ceremony
1. We Begin With You
We will talk about your relationship, your values, your beliefs, and how you want your ceremony to feel. You never need to fit your story into a predetermined script.
2. I Create Your Ceremony
Using what you share with me, I will thoughtfully shape the language, flow, and symbolic elements of your ceremony. You will have the opportunity to review and refine it so that every part feels authentic.
3. We Gather and Celebrate
On your wedding day, I will bring a calm, grounded, and reassuring presence to the ceremony, allowing you to be fully present with one another and with the people who have gathered to celebrate your love.
Kryssa Marie Bowman is an ordained interspiritual minister since 2009. She is wedding officiant, and sacred ceremony celebrant serving Ocracoke Island and the Outer Banks as of 2026.
Kryssa's spiritual perspective is omnistic. She honors the wisdom and beauty found throughout the world’s spiritual traditions while believing that no single path holds the entirety of truth.
She isn't interested in preaching, prescribing, or imposing any particular belief system upon your ceremony. She is here to listen deeply, understand what is meaningful to you, and help you express it with beauty, sincerity, and heart.
